The Aviva Investors UK Real Estate Recovery Fund sold the freehold interest of Newquay Road Retail Park in Truro to Threadneedle Property Unit Trust for a price of £10.1 million. The retail park was subject to a major refurbishment in 2011, extends to 49,296 sq ft and is let to Harveys, Dunelm, Dreams and Hobbycraft at rents between £12.50 and £16.00 per sq ft. The purchase price reflects a net initial yield of 6.57%. Wilkinson Williams acted for Aviva.
