Threadneedle have bought the Skydome leisure scheme in Coventry for £26.5 million from Mansford, reflecting a yield of around 6.8%. The scheme comprises some 169,000 sq ft of accommodation and 779 car parking spaces, built in 2000 and recently refurbished. It lies adjoining the city centre, the inner ring road and a 260,000 sq ft IKEA. Occupiers include a 9 screen Odeon cinema (1,921 seats), Pure Gym, Genting Casino, JD Wetherspoon, M&B and an ice rink and arena. The WAULT to breaks is over 13 years and there is an average rent of some £11.00 per sq ft.
