Melford acquire Roaring Meg Shopping Park

Acting on behalf of Melford Capital Partners, Avison Young has acquired the freehold interest in Roaring Meg Shopping Park in Stevenage from Aberdeen Standard Investments.

The 307,012 sq ft park is let to Currys PC World, DFS, Debenhams, Smyths Toys, Hobbycraft, Boots, Tapi, Wren, Furniture Village, Argos, ScS, Dreams, Harveys / Bensons for Beds, Oak Furnitureland, TruGym, Partyman, Sharps, Costa, Pizza Hut, Burger King and 2 vacant units.  The site comprises 24.2 acres.

The scheme was acquired for a gross price of £50 million with circa £3.6 million of deductions.  The net initial yield based off the guaranteed income is 10.30%.
