Omniplex are the largest cinema operator in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland with a current portfolio consisting of 38 cinemas. Avison Young are retained to advise them on their growth plans to expand across the UK. Instructed to acquire sites for both brand concepts including their multiplex format Omniplex, and The Avenue, which is their town centre, boutique offering. Omniplex will consider both leasehold and freehold opportunities. Their requirement includes unit sizes of 15,000- 40,000 sq ft on prime leisure and retail parks for Omniplex and 12,000-28,000 sq ft for The Avenue in prime Town Centres / Shopping Centres in all major UK towns and cities.
