Summary

Argos was established in 1972 and was acquired by Sainsburys in April 2016 and is now part of this group. They trade from physical stores, within Sainsburys stores and online. They currently operate over 700 retail stores with over 29 million yearly store customers, and over a billion online visitors per annum, making it one of the largest high street retailers in the United Kingdom. Avison Young were appointed by Argos in 2017 to assist in their store disposal programme as a result of a strategy to rationalise their estate and relocate some Argos stores to within Sainsburys stores. We are working on High Street, Shopping Centre and Out of Town store Disposals.
